Tourist Travel Requirements for a Liberia Visa for Australian Citizens

  1. Overseas Processing

    There is no Embassy representation for this destination in Australia. All applications are processed abroad using our VisasDirect office in England. Overseas courier fees of €75.00 + VAT per order apply in addition to the fees listed

  2. Passport

    The applicant's actual passport. The passport must:

    • Have at least one blank visa page
    • Be valid for six months beyond the expiry date of the visa

  3. Photograph(s)

    Two identical passport sized colour photographs. The photographs must:

    • Be taken within the last three months and printed on high-quality photo paper
    • Be taken against an all white background
    • Be 45mm (h) by 35 mm (w)
    • Provide the full frontal view of your head with your face centred in the middle and displaying a neutral (non-smiling) expression
    • You may wear neither eyeglasses nor headwear except for religious purposes
    • Your photos should not be affixed to your application and they may not display evidence of adhesive or staples

  4. Proof of Travel Arrangements

    This must be provided as a copy of the hotel confirmation

  5. Proof of Financial Means

    You must provide proof of sufficient funds for the duration of your stay. This should include a recent bank statement detailing a minimum credit balance of at least $60 AUD.

  6. Yellow Fever Certificate

    One original Yellow Fever Certificate

    Please note: The original certificate must be carried by the traveller whilst in country for presentation to officials on request.

  7. Letter of Introduction

    A declaration letter from the applicant. This letter must:
    • Include the name and passport details of the applicant
    • Include the purpose and duration of the visit
    • Provide a brief description of the planned activities
    • Include the addresses of stay
    • Be dated and signed

  8. Visa Application Form

    You must provide two fully completed and signed application forms (do not print double sided)

  9. VisasDirect Order Confirmation

Business Travel Requirements for a Liberia Visa for Australian Citizens

  1. Passport

    The applicant's actual passport. The passport must:

    Alternatively, you may provide two colour, passport type photographs that meet the following strict criteria: be taken within the last three months against a white background and printed on high quality photo paper; be 35mm by 45mm in size; provide the full frontal view of your head with your face centred in the middle and displaying a neutral (non-smiling) expression. You may wear neither spectacles nor headwear except for religious purposes. Your photographs should not be affixed to your application and may not display evidence of adhesive or staples.

  3. Business Introduction Letter

    You are required to provide a Business Introduction Letter from your Australian-based company. All letters must be printed on company letterhead that displays an Australia mailing address.     Yes. You will need to send your actual passport, not a copy of it. The Liberia visa is stamped on your passport and will become one of your passport pages.
